Ingredients - Makes 10 waffles
2 cups heart healthy bisquick
1 1/3 cup water
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp white chocolate chips
35 grams macadamia nuts

** I smashed up the nuts a bit, that way they would spread through out a little, rather than just 1 or 2 big nuts in each waffle.

1) Mix bisquick, water, vanilla and egg until its all smooth (no clumps of bisquick)

2) Lightly spray waffle maker with non stick. Pour in batter and then sprinkle white some of the chips & nuts over waffles, and close waffle maker. Cook until ready (or sometimes a bit longer if you like your waffles nice and crunchy)

*We got this waffle maker for $20 at walmart, so they aren't to expensive.

3) Add your toppings (butter/syrup/honey/chopped fruit etc). I prefer to use Mrs Buttersworths Sugar Free syrup because 1/4 cup is only 20 calories!

You can use the same mix (2 cups mix, 1 1/3 cup water & 1 egg) to make plain waffles, and they come out anywhere from 50-100 calories less than plain frozen waffles (when compared gram per gram). Which is not to shabby for waffles.

**These are freezer friendly. Place them into a sandwich bag, push out air and press closed. Then when your ready to eat one, put it in the toaster just like a store bought frozen waffle! **
